Grace turned three in July 2013--old enough for her first grownup massage. Handled, groomed, and lovingly pampered daily since birth, Grace is a filly well acclimated to contact. Her massage, however, was intended to introduce her to a depth and duration of touch that was new to her. With ongoing bodywork, Grace will enjoy the benefits of a preventative therapy that supports her regular muscular development and ease of movement as she enters her formal training.
Here is a progression of photos from her massage. Appropriately wary at first, Grace was soon directing my touch and leaning into pressure like an old pro. I think she's a convert!
